Chemical Industry
In this industry, the fiberglass grating is used for anti-slip safety feature of the embedded grit surface and the chemically resistant feature of different resin compounds. The chemicals being used are matched with the resins.
GRP is also used to make storage tanks for storage of water and chemicals.
Cooling Towers
Since cooling towers are always wet, they have to be protected from rust, corrosion, and other safety issues. Due to the excellent properties of fiberglass, it is used in these towers as screening to keep people and animals away from the danger zones.
Construction
GRP & GRC are excellent cladding materials as they are moulded and can achieve various shapes and sizes. Almost all of the decorative materials used for claddings in mosques, shopping malls, Villas etc are made of these composites since these are light weight, highly durable and have a high strength to weight ratio. GRP is also used for make pier moulds and shutter moulds for casting of concrete.
Docks and marinas
The docks get corroded, rusted and damaged by the salty sea water. So, fiberglass is used here for protection. Service pedestals, charging stations, pile caps are made of GRP and widely used in Marinas and docking stations.
Healthcare
GRP is used for creating sanitary fire rated cladding in rooms and provide the perfect care for healthcare applications. Clean rooms, waiting areas, Hospital rooms, testing equipment, ambulances are all prime examples of GRP usage and applications.
Fire & Safety
GRP is widely used in the Fire & Safety industry because of it’s non-corrosive and non-rusting properties. GRP cabinets are used for the storage of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, breathing apparatus sets, fireman’s equipment storage and many other storage applications. GRP is also used to make sunshades for instruments to protect them from the suns UV rays.

The interiors are always important in the Hospitality business and hence GRP and GRC are used in decorative products. From decorative domes, claddings, cornices, window and door surrounds, pots and planters to room interiors.
Landscaping
GRP & GRC are widely used in the Landscaping industry for making swimming pools. spas, water features, fountains, statues, rockworks, pots & planters and a whole lot of decorative features.
Power Generation
Many areas of the power generation industry like tank farms, scrubbers, and others use fiberglass. The reason for this is the non-conductive property of fiberglass.
Telecom
GRP is used In the Telecom industry mainly in cladding of signalling towers as it does not interfere with the signalling between towers and also protects equipment from dust and rain.

GRP / GRC find it’s way automatically as everything that one see’s in a themepark is decorative, unique and customized. The moulding properties of composites gives it a better and bigger edge over other materials.
