Spray Painting

The spray shop here at NORCO can provide any wet spray coating. We paint all types of material with our real focus on finishing composite components. Our spray booths measure 9m x 4m x 3m and 10.5 x 6m x 3m. These are suitable for larger structures such as hull patterns catered for by mobile tenting & extraction. All our customers have individual requirements from paint finishes, batches of work or single jobs are each tailored to suit their needs. Paint finishes we currently offer customers include:

Mold Making

The Moulds or ‘Tooling’ used to give composite & GRP parts their form can be produced from an extensive range of materials dependant on a number of factors. Part complexity, surface quality, operational temperature range, part quantity and lifespan requirements and finally project budget can all normally influence the design and materials used to produce composite & GRP tooling.

GRP Lamination

Hand Laid Glass Reinforced Polyester is still one of the most cost effective methods of manufacturing your composite or fibre glass mouldings, especially where low to medium volume and long term production are applicable. It has been the preferred method of production for many of our customers and we’ve been producing GRP mouldings in this way since inception 30 years ago.
